Setup needed: paste your Firebase config into FIREBASE_CONFIG in src/config.js and rebuild (see setup steps provided separately). Until then, nothing will save.

How she says her words

Words the context step rewrote in Speech-To-Text, newest first. This is here so a change that keeps happening — or one you keep undoing — is easy to spot. It never changes her bank. The most recent 50 are kept, and like the rest of her bank they show on every device with her code.

Before the gate can be switched on, the app has to learn how far apart Harlie’s voice and other voices actually score. You record her a few times, then anyone else a few times, and it works out where the line goes. It takes a couple of minutes and blocks nothing while you do it.

Leave this off at home. There is nobody else talking, so the gate has nothing to catch and can only get in her way — every recording it mistakes for someone else is one she has to do again. It is for a classroom, where the iPad is not only hers.
